Our History & Heritage
From a country store in the 1930s to a Michelin-recognized restaurant, our building has evolved while preserving its soul.
Originally Bill Daly's Red Barn, then Red Barn Inn, Horseradish Grill, and now THE CHASTAIN—each era added character while maintaining the legacy.
In 2020, Chef Christopher Grossman restored the building, revived the garden, and created a destination for sophisticated yet approachable dining.
